My Top 5 Favorite WordPress Plugins

1. Elementor

I can’t express my love for this plugin enough. I listed it as #1 for a reason! Elementor is a WordPress plugin that allows you to design and build your website however you want. Drag & drop widgets to create custom layouts and make your website stand out.

You can try Elementor for free, or purchase Elementor Pro here.

2. WooCommerce

If you’re thinking about selling your artwork or merchandise, WooCommerce is the quickest and easiest way to get an online store setup. It allows you to sell physical or digital goods through your WordPress website, and is a great way to make some extra income. Did I mention it is FREE?! You can use WooCommerce out-of-the-box, totally free. You only pay for add-ons or extensions, but they aren’t mandatory to start selling your products online.

You can try WooCommerce for free, or purchase paid extensions here.

3. Smush

Smush is a WordPress plugin that compresses the photos and graphics on your website, which reduces load time and helps your site perform better.

You can try Smush for free here.

4. JetSmartFilters

JetSmartFilters is a WordPress plugin that allows you to set up dynamic filters for customers to use to sort through your products or other content on your website. It is highly compatible with both Elementor and WooCommerce, and will make your customers’ browsing experience infinitely better.

5. Yoast SEO

If you don’t want to dive head first into all the intricacies, rules, and headaches of SEO (Search Engine Optimization)—I know I certainly don’t—then this is a great option. Yoast is a WordPress plugin that optimizes your site for searching; meaning…it helps to rank your site higher on Google, making it easier for people to find you. It gives you customized suggestions to make your website content better and more accessible.
